"Development of scintillation materials and crystal production technologies”

The report addresses some recent trends of scintillator materials development. The enhancement of scintillation parameters was achieved by transfer to solid solutions and by novel strategies of aliovalent codoping.

Recently developed fabrication technologies provide the cost reduction of oxide crystals with garnet and perovskite structure, as well as Eu-doped halogenide scintillators (SrI₂:Eu).
